Frequently Asked Questions….

🌸 What happens in a Kinesiology consultation?

Initially time is spent talking about the stress you want to work on and setting a goal for the session. You will then lie down on the massage table with your elbow resting on the table and your arm at a 45-degree angle. I will use the muscle near the elbow to test for stress within your being and what remedies you require to clear that stress. My treatment room is a private and confidential space for you to embark on your healing journey.

🌸 How will I feel during and after a Kinesiology consultation?

You may feel emotional during a consultation because we are talking about something that is stressful for you. After a consultation you may still feel emotional or tired or both as you integrate the process on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level.

🌸 What do I need to do before a Kinesiology consultation?

You will need to complete a client history form, attached to your booking confirmation email, before your first visit and bring it with you or email it back to me. It is preferable that you wear clothes you will feel comfortable in whilst lying on the massage table. Avoiding alcohol before the appointment and drinking plenty of water will ensure you get the most benefit out of the consultation.

🌸 What do I need to do after a Kinesiology consultation?

To assist your body to complete its healing you will need to drink plenty of water and rest. If your body has asked for “homework” then it will be your choice and responsibility to complete this.

🌸 How many Kinesiology consults will I need?

Only you can decide how many consults you need. Sometimes issues are cleared with one consultation and other times it may take several consults to clear a particular stress. Some people have an appointment weekly, others every 4 – 6 weeks and some do a couple of consultations per year.

🌸 Can I see a Kinesiologist if I am seeing a Western Medicine practitioner?

Yes, you can. Kinesiology is a complementary therapy. Kinesiologists do not diagnose illness or disease or prescribe medications. Kinesiology brings your stressors to your conscious attention so they can be cleared, and balance and harmony restored to your being.
